The trend, it seems, for new electronic music is the lower the bass and the slower the beat, the better it is.

Admittedly it gives more room for musical expression and creates that grand and atmospheric sense everyone is aiming for. The same can be said for other genres like metal where 8, 9 and 10 string guitars are becoming ever more popular…but is it too much? Are we losing the groove, we’ll all be doing the ‘zombie’ instead of the ‘shuffle’ or whatever dance it is now.

Sorry I forgot to talk about the release. Good songs and good production but it just caught me off guard. I would have fallen asleep if my ear drums weren’t vibrating with the sub uncontrollably.  Another release like it this week is Fortuna by Ivy Lab.
