London producer Gold Panda’s new album is refreshing and fascinating. His use of samples is unlike anything we are hearing from producers this year.

His song form is irregular but always uplifting. The ever rolling wheel of catchy hooks leaves uswith no real need for a chorus but just constant happy faces and ears.

This release, unlike previous efforts seem less likely to make it’s way to the club scene but is far more suited to coffee shops, headphones and sunset drives.

Songs that sound overly complex are usually just repeated motifs, cleverly disguised and beautifully worked into cheerful listens. Sexy, raw samples in abundance!
